Nature’s Gene Pool is At Risk

Without proper safeguards and limitations, GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) are released into the environment, cross with non-GMO varieties, and irreversibly propagate their altered genes and accompanying side effects throughout future generations.

Because gene editing techniques like CRISPR are so cheap and easy, it is possible to envision massive numbers of gene edited GMOs introduced in just one generation. This threatens to replace nature with a permanently corrupted gene pool.
